There isn't a ferry from Bodrum to Marmaris - it would take quite a long time to do that journey.

The bus journey isn't bad and is a nice ride over there - we've driven over to Marmaris from our house in Gumbet a few times. The coach would probably do it in about three hours or just over depending on the stops.

The only way is by bus I'm afraid, there are no boats going. It would take far too long anyway.

Thanks JAK and ARRYATH for your replys i have travelled by bus on this route before and it was really nice so i personally dont mind the journey i think it was three and half hours. im sure once my friend sees the lovely views and the scenery she will most probably enjoy the journey.

Yep, I agree... the bus is the way to go! I travelled from Gumbet to Dalyan by bus and it was great! They really look after you (constantly feeding and watering you)!!! Much better than our National Express! x
