Help! Hotels in Gumbet, Budget holiday, can`t find a place to stay Options

I`m new to the forum so firstly a big "hello" to everyone!

Myself and some friends are coming over to Gumbet in July. There is two of us coming from North Cyprus and the rest from the UK. The friends from the UK have all their flights, accomodation sorted, but we have only bought our tickets as we cannot find a hotel!! I have been to a few agents here but they werent much help and Ive had a look online but that wasnt that great either as some of the stuff is just a scam. So I was wondering if anyone could help...

We basically each have a budget of £500 to spend on accomodation. We will be staying two weeks and would love it if we could get "all inclusive" I have found a hotel called GULER RESORT which is less than £500 for all inclusive, however, the reviews are absolutely awful! So I was wondering if anyone has been and what do you think? Do you know of anywhere else in the same price range?

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Also, if you could tell me few places worth a visit that would be great too.

You will have no probelm finding accomodation for that price. I would steer away from the cheap AI hotels as you really do get what you pay for and if you are going to be going out with your friends you wont be spending a lot of time at the hotel anyway.

You may do better to look for a small apartment. Have a look at somewhere like Dost apartments, they are basic but well kept and are very reasonable priced, you would only spend half your budget there. Other places to look could be Ozukara, Greenhouse, La Maison, Club Alka or Queen Resort

Also have a look at somewhere like Low Cost Holidays or Alpha Rooms for accomodation and you will see the choice of accomodation available.

You could also look at the Serhan Hotel which is a small and friendly hotel close to the beach - we always stayed there before we bought our house in Gumbet. Try looking on Travel Republic as you can get good deals through them.

Hey & welcome . I wouldn’t stay at the Guler Resort, my friend is a travel agent & said she gets loads of people coming in to complain about it, its meant to be horrible. I’ve stayed at the Kaptain Kemal, Greenhouse & the Almina & all 3 were really good & not too expensive, I also stayed at the Amica Apartments but I wouldn’t recommend them, they were quite dirty & we didn’t like them much, they might have changed now though cos that was in 2007. Hope you find somewhere & have a good holiday x
