I am a bit confused here.....you are saying that your friend Anna put the post on here asking about a guy called mami because she was concerned after reading what Poppy wrote about Gabby.....well, that can not be true because Anna put the post on here on 22 JUNE.......And the post about this man Gabby was not put on by Poppy until 9 JULY.!!!!

So this reason that you give can not be the truth, it MUST be a lie because the dates prove when things were posted on here.!!

I have been following the stories...both this post and the posts about GABBY / GABRIELLE..........AND personally, find them very interesting. It is about time people like him are named and shamed. He shoud have a public flogging.

I can not see that Poppy has written anything wrong or bad about your friend Anna.

But I agree with what Poppy has said - if the truth offends or upsets people - then that is just too bad.

But what Anna said to the waiter in the restaurant was not very nice - THEY CAN BOTH FUCK OFF - HE IS MY GIGOLO NOW - That was un called for. Is she trying to score points becuase she has got herself a toy boy?? It is certainly not something to be proud of - bragging that you have bought yourself a young man -she must be a sad, desperate, old woman with no self respect.

He deserves all the bad press that he gets. I personally feel sorry for the other two ladies involved because they have been used by him and were totally innocent in it all. SallyAnne, I am still confused as to why Anna or her friend Cindy was asking questions about a waiter because they were concerned after reading the posts about GABBY....the post referring to GABBY was written on 9th of JULY....and the question about the waiter was written on 22nd JUNE....this is 17 days BEFORE Poppy had written about GABBY....so this can not be true.....how can they be concerned about reading something 17 days before it was made public.......CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS?

I have not doubt that the waiter who is "telling tales" is doing it for the drama and this person is just a trouble maker.

I have not made any direct insults or nasty remarks about your friend Anna, I have simply pointed out that a womoan of mature years will obviously think of a yonger man as a TROPHY....something to dangle off their arm..LOOK WHAT I HAVE GOT FOR MYSELF...(as he is her TOY BOY...it is not wrong to assume she is quite a few years older than him...this is normal for Turkish men )....It is also common knowledge that this type of women will pay the price for these men.

On reading the other stories involving this particular man, it is fair to say that the other two ladies involved were innocent victims. He conned them with lies and sob stories about his family and accidents....On the other hand, it would seem that your friend Anna has chosen to ignore every bit of advice and information about this man despite knowing that he has lied, these lies have been proved and also he has admitted to lying.....but SHE has decided to GO FOR GOLD...AND PURCHASE HIM FOR HERSELF....

It is also common knowledge that these men only marry this type of woman for a visa to the UK. It is very sad that these women really believe that a man, in all probability is half their age...will really fancy them in the first place...never mind want to marry them.

I am fully aware that some of these marriages work, but that is VERY RARE. 95% of these men are only after a visa and I just hope your friend is not one of them.

The 95% of these men are professional at what they do..say all the right things at the right time...they have been doing it for years and obviously are in collusion with each other .... to ensure that they get the "PERFECT REACTION" from their victims.

Hi Sallyanne...sorry, but I seem to have struck a nerve or two with you.

First of all, I am JULIE...that is my real name. The reason I joined this site is because I have never been to Gumbet or Bodrum before and was thinking of going this year. I found this site quite by accident when I was looking on the internet for information on these resorts.

I have read MANY of the posts on here, covering a rang of subjects. I have no agenda, I have no secrets. I simply replied to you as I was confused with what you were saying...to me, it just did not add up.

I have been going to different parts of Turkey for holidays for many years and I have seen this type of thing happen to women on many occasions...it happened to my sisters friend...so THAT is the reason for my interest in this particular subject...NO OTHER REASON AT ALL.

I can see that POPPY can speak well enough for herself, on behalf of her friend and does not need anybody to help her out, however, if I did feel that I had something to add....I would just say so....which I already have..I have no Idea who Poppy is and have no desire to find out.

I have read the post from LONDONGIRL.....and I agree with you...I am sorry for her too. I also noticed that nobody has replied to her but that may be because she has just made a statement and has also said that she has moved on now.
It would only take a few minutes for me to reply to her and make up a load of stuff...and ask her a load of questions..why would I want to do that??.

I have no idea why Poppy has not added a post for LONDONGIRL.....If you are that concerned why dont you ask her yourself...because to be honest with you, I had not thought of that until you mentioned it and I am not really that interested.

Getting back to the original issue....I agree with you about the first post being in May...but you stated that your friend got concerned after seeing what was written about this man...which was written in July !!?? To me...that STILL does not make sense.

There seems to have been a bit of a war going on here over the past week between you and this lady called Julie.

I can assure you, that I do not know her. It seems to me that she has just put her opinion on here and asked a few questions...which anybody is entitled to do, thats what this site is for. She also made some very valid points, asked some pertinent questions which still have not been answered.
I have been away on holiday for 5 days and not even looked at the intenet or this site.

As for LONDONGIRL, well, that just goes to show that this man is EXACTLY what I have been saying he is all along. He is total scum. I use the word MAN very losley. He is an EXCUSE for a man.

I have not replied to her because I think she has said it all.
It would seem that he will do ANYTHING in order to get a visa. age does not come into it. If fact, it is common knowledge in Gumbet that he will shag anybody between the ages of 14 to 70, HE IS FAMOUS THERE.
You are going to Gumbet yourself at the end of the month, just ask around, I am sure that you will then find out the truth. Go to the MANDARIN restaurant and speak to HASSAN. He will tell you a lot about this man.

Carole and her friend will be back home tomorrow. They have enjoyed their holiday and as I am sure that you already know, they have not had any contact with HIM. That is not to say that he has not tried to contact them!!!!!
They avoided going to places where he might have been so that in itself proves that they were not intending to cause any trouble.

Anna is welcome to him and all the pain she will no doubt endure in the future. If you were a good friend you would try to talk some sense into her but if she really is that desperate, which she seems to be, I doubt that she will listen to anybody except him...WHICH WILL BE ALL LIES.
She will pay the price for him, and it appears that she already has to some extent. It is so very sad when you have to BUY a man half your age just to SHOW OFF to your friends.

He is "used, soiled goods" which Carole and the other ex girlfriend want nothing to do with.
They are getting on with their lives and there is no room for him anymore. They have had a very luck escape not to have fallen deeper into the bottomless black pit of lies and deceit that Anna will soon find herself in.

Thank you for your reply. Reading all this has not put me off going to Gumbet, in fact I am going in 2 days for a week. But, I will certainly be on my guard against this type of man.

You obviously know the place very well so I would be grateful if you could recommend some good places to go. Me and my friends just want to have fun and a good time....there are 4 of us between the ages of 32 -40..but we enjoy a good time...like to dance, have a laugh e.t.c

We also like to eat out in the evenings, so could you please tell us of the best restaurants we could go to.

We are staying at the La Rosa Hotel and Villas...which I believe is not too central or near the beach, but is very nice.

Also, we like to spend the day at the beach, so if you could recommend somewhere where we could go and spend the day...just to relax and have nice food and entertainment, that would be great.
