I was just wondering if there are any foods that should be avoided in Bodrum ?. Is there anything you shouldn't eat. I wouldn't want to get an upset tummy on hols
Hi Jack,
All of the restaurants know that if they get a bad rep. they will go out of business.
I have been 23 times to Bodrum and only been ill twice, once through a chicken kiev tha was raw in the middle, and a dodgy duck at a chinese.
All in all the quality of food is very good everywhere.

Hi Jack
I have never been ill as a result of food in Turkey - drink maybe but never food!! Although I did feel a bit off after a tripe kebab once....
Just exercise the usual precautions - if you think it looks odd or are unsure of the storage of for example seafood - steer clear!!
There's so many great foods to try so have a feast!!!
Oh well maybe you can avoid food sold in outside ..
I can recommend you to try some turkish cuisine : sultan kebap, iskender kebap , turkish pizza hmm this topic makes me feel hungry
Did anyone of you tried some turkish soup ? we have really delicious soups such as brain soup , iskembe , kelle paca haha
The soups are great - especially after a long night partying!!! It's worth trying them all but make sure they're freshly made - we can all make up a packet of soup!!
