Alins at the bottom of Bar Street. Got no hassle at all, unlike on the way going down the Street. We just walked in through our own choice. Gorgeous meal, well presented, great price. Highly recommend it.

In Gumbet I would recommend Roxy's turkish night, food great, entertainment fantastic (belly dancers, break dancers, snake shows etc) all for 25ytl - well worth the money.

also Mistral Bar on at the end of beach, if your looking out to sea its to the left, great food, great staff and a free bottle of red/white wine with a steak meal - 22oz porterhouse steak with all the trimmings, free garlic bread and free bottle of wine 19ytl.

china town was good the first time we went, but the 2nd it was quite dry but still worth it. Also pop in and see carlos in the mermaid, they also do good food, we also tried mandarin further down main street, the food was nice, we managed to get offered free garlic bread, free kids meal and 6 free bottles of wine!! we only had 2 at the restaurant and as we were about to leave, the boss came out with a carrier bag with the rest of the wine!! as you can probably guess, i haven't forgotten that restaurant.

for ice cream, walk along the beach and look for the seller with the imitation pistol on the side, great man and great ice cream - you would know which one i mean when he shouts "Ice Cream, You Scream, Evereybody Scream!!!"

In Bodrum, its gotta be demeter bar, great staff, great boss (mammet) and great food, i must recommend the Adana Kebab approx 9.50ytl and worth it!!

We have to give a big shout to Jack and the guys at the ALP KAPTAN resturaunt. We had a few fantastic nights whilst we stayed at the Gardenya Hotel across the road. Food was fantastic!! They are situated just outside Bodrum centre but if you call them they will send a free taxi and return trip.
ALP KAPTAN also has Sky Sports on big screen, Free pool table and x-box, free internet.
We were in Bodrum to furnish our new rental apartment, please visit at http:// www.turquoisebay.net

Just returned from 2 weeks in Gumbet and we found the best place to eat was OUR HOUSE, down at the bottom of bar street, blue lights outside.
Mustafa the owner was great and all the guys really friendly, stays open until you leave most nights this was 4am and he was still back to do the breakfast. GREAT PLACE, great holiday.
