I was at the Eken in June and October 2009 and booked again for June 2010, Its on the beach in Gumbet (or at least 100mts away)
They have there own sunbeds on the beach, There is a nice pool at the hotel and lots of beds there.

Its a 5 min walk to the middle of bar street from the frnt of the hotel or go out the back of the hotel to the beach and walk along the beach front to all the bars and cafe's.

LOCAL drinks are free at the hotel from 10.30 am to spot on midnight, the bar is open until 2am, but you must pay for drinks after midnight.

Rooms are big and cleaned daily, the air con is free, a fridge and tv in the rooms, hair dryer in the loo,

food is nice, lots of chicken dishes (every meal)and nice salads, again drinks and wine are all free.

hope this helps you a bit.
