Hey

I'm new here... and have been reading a lot of posts here and just confusing myself even more (especially with that Take A Break article... wtf?)

Basically, I'm a Turkish girl born and raised in the UK and I've been to Turkey numerous times. This September I went to Gumbet for the first time with another Turkish friend and I met a guy at Chico's bar. I was only able to spend time with him twice and during that time we danced more than anything else... but there seemed to be a mutual like and he asked to stay in touch.

So we're friends on facebook and more recently we've been chatting on msn every other night. He's a nice guy (and insanely hot) but he comes on a little strong. He acts like he wants this to become something serious with me and wants us to be able to spend time together... and I'm so confused. He wanted me to meet up with him in December for a week and I was honest and told him I doubted it since I don't know him and everything. I didn't give him my mobile number either.
And now he's complaining that he's the only one of us trying to make the relationship go forward. I keep explaining to him that things like this take time if he really wants to get serious with me. So he's going along with it for now.

But the thing is... I can't be sure if he's trying to play me! I like him. I don't want to hate him. I don't know how I even really feel about him. When I met him, it was instant physical attraction. Not much more than that... and I'm not the kind of girl who goes on holiday looking for sex, but my attraction for him was so strong that I was tempted... hence why I wanted to keep in touch. I figured he messes with a lot of girls he meets and I would just be like any of those. But all this stuff he's saying to me... I don't know what his intentions are...

He almost "ended it" last night when I said I wasn't considering him a boyfriend yet since it's too soon and plus he lives in Turkey. He felt like this was heading nowhere so he said let's forget it and we'll be friends but I told him I didn't just want to be friends but that he has to slow down and understand that things like this in reality take time... we have to get to know each other. We are giving it one more chance...

Anyway... any advice you could give would be very much appreciated. Also, I haven't managed to find any dirt on Chico's bar which I want to take as a good sign... lol... but if you guys know any bad news about that place or any of the employees, please let me know. I think the owner also owns Smileys bar so maybe these guys have worked there also?

Hiya I am friends with alot of the guys in chico's bar, and to me they are all nice guys in there.... some of them are forward but thats it, i have never heard anything bad about them, unlike the other bars on/ down that street you hear bad things about, so i think that shows something x

But i cant really say anymore unless i know the guys name, I have PM'ed u roseali anyway so i might be able to help
